What's New On My Website
- I have added this new page, which will tell the latest news about Webkinz, and about the updates to my own Website. I call it the Heron Herald. You never know what information you may discover here!
- I have added a Contests page, to help everyone keep track of the many contests that I am holding. I will still put a link to each contest on the main page. You can find the link to the Contests page on the top of all pages except for the main page.
- I have added an article, "Never Too Old For Webkinz."
- I have uploaded Photos of many of my Plush Webkinz. You can find them on the Images page.
- I have updated my Images page with some more screenshots. It is still not complete, but I'm working on it!
- I have uploaded new rooms! Click on my Tour to see the new rooms.
- I have updated the Game Tips page with my new high scores, and a new tidbit here and there.

I quickly got addicted to the Trading Cards! I bought several more, and have now gotten 4 free pets: 3 Golden Retrievers, and 1 Panda Bear. Besides Lakota, the other Golden Retrievers are Limerick, a girl, and Data, a boy. Data is my favorite Star Trek character. The Panda is a girl named Carinaya. I made up that name. It's pronounced like "Carrie - Naya."
I also bought a new pet: the Lil' Kinz Googles! His name is Puddles. I just adore him! I love the way he waddles around, and then plops himself down when he sits! Too cute!

Haunted News - Celebrate Halloween with Webkinz World!
I'm sure you have noticed the new
Webkinz Homepage! I think Dr. Quack looks pretty scary here!

Be sure to log in to Webkinz World on Halloween. There will be some surprise gift for us apparently! Also, be aware that the Halloween Theme will no longer be available after November 1. So if you want any of those items, get them now! I'm not a big fan of Halloween, so I did not get much of the theme. I did buy a couple of the Mausoleum TV's because I thought they were really pretty, and went well with my Country Theme (See the Tour of my Webkinz House). I also have some of the Bat Licorice and Pumpkin Lollipops stored in my fridge. I think it's nice to keep them, since they are seasonal. I also will be keeping the Halloween costumes.

Goober's Lab Trophy Getting Harder To Come By
I used to get
Goober's Lab Trophies quite often. At first, I was keeping 2 and
selling the rest. But then I was getting so many of them that it
became humorous to me. So I started to keep them, and display
them throughout my house. I have noticed that I have not been
getting them at all lately. And I am not the only one.
Others are reporting the same thing. Apparently, they have
slowed down giving these trophies out. So if you have some, I
advise you to keep them. I am pretty sure they have not been
retired. They just seem to be far less frequent.
On the other hand, some people are reporting getting Operation Gumball Trophies a lot more lately. I won my first one just the other day, and I didn't even get anywhere near my high score. So if you have given up on an Operation Gumball Trophy, perhaps you should give it another go!

Quizzy's Whizkinz Disappears!
I had just added
Quizzy's Whizkinz to my Game Tips page, and my Kinzcash Tips page, when
the game disappeared! I waited several days hoping it would
return, but so far, it has not. This seems a bit strange to me,
because Webkinz has a habit of letting us know whenever they retire a
game. They let us know about Jazz Monsters. But I have seen
no word at all about Quizzy's Whizkinz. I am hoping that Webkinz
has a similar, or even better game in the works to replace it with.
Track And Field Added to Kinzville Academy
The new Kinzville Academy has gotten
mixed reviews from Webkinz members. The main complaint is that
you have to pay $50 per class. I suppose this can be justified
because in real life, you have to pay to go to an Academy. But if
they want it to be life-like, then I do not understand the Tutoring
option. Your pet does not get tutored at all! It just skips
the class and gives you credit for it. That is not like real life
at all! You should not be able to pay for your grades, which is
essentially what this option allows you to do.
On the more positive side, many find the Kinzville Academy very fun. The Weight Lifting Class is probably easy for younger kids, which is good, because so many of the games and activities in Webkinz World are too hard for the younger members. And another nice thing is that you get to actually see your pet doing the activities.
The Track and Field class is my favorite so far! The pets look so cute jumping over the hurdles, and the class is fairly easy, so far anyway. If you have not tried out this new class, give it a try! You may find that you like it the best of all the Kinzville Academy classes.

Some Glitches Not All That Bad!
Since Webkinz has added the
Action Tab, there is a funny little glitch! If you put your pet
in bed, and then click on the Giggle Action, the pet will giggle, and
then lay down in the bed upside down! Then, if you click the Wave
action, the pet will wave and then turn around sideways! It's
kind of cute. Did you know that you can also make them giggle,
wave, or smile while on the trampoline? When you make them wave
or giggle, they will do a nice little Trampoline trick! They sit
down when they hit the trampoline and then stand back up. I
remember when I used to do this trick on the trampoline! There
have been a lot of people who log on to find their pets sleeping in a
vehicle. This happened to me too. Cupcake, my Cocker
Spaniel, was riding around in her Golf Cart. Without taking her
out of the Golf Cart, I then clicked on the bed, and she got in the bed
and went to sleep. I logged off. Then when I logged back
on, she was in the bed, greeted me as usual, and then got in the Golf
Cart and went right to sleep in there! I do not think these
glitches hurt anything, and can actually be kind of cute!
Licorice Gets His Medical License!
Licorice is now "Dr.
Licorice." He has been learning for some time now about
veterinary medicine from Dr. Quack. He has aced the Dr. Quack's
Assistant job, and has now received his own medical license! As
you can see here, he is wearing his "Lab Coat." Quite appropriate
for a Black Lab, don't you think?
About the Ads On My Site
You will notice some ads
throughout my website. These are from Google AdSense. I try
to choose an ad style that is not too annoying, and I try to place them
in a way that they are not too in the way. I place these ads on
my site in an attempt to make some money to help pay for the website,
and for the contest prizes. I do not always have a say in what
ads appear. The ads come up based on the words on the page.
So if I use the word "Webkinz" a lot, then some ads for Webkinz
may come up. I have seen a few ads that I do not personally
endorse, and I have not yet figured out how to get rid of these.
For example, I do not endorse any sites that give out Cheat
Codes, or Cheats. I also would caution anyone about Marapets.
I have seen an ad on my site for Marapets, and I typed in the
site address to check it out (I'm not allowed to click on my own ads,
so I just typed it in). After going on Marapets, my computer
started acting strange, crashing a lot. It turns out that I had a
Trojan Horse! I later discovered that others have gotten Trojan
Horses from Marapets. Most people find the site is safe and have
not had trouble. But I just wanted to caution anyone. If
anyone is familiar with Google AdSense, and can tell me how I might go
about filtering out some ads that I do not endorse, please contact me
and let me know how! I would appreciate it VERY much!
